Living in Florida let Marcea write about unique activities like watching the mermaids at Weeki Wachee, swimming with manatees or visiting the oldest city in the US. She also loves visiting Black history sites around the state. When not writing, Marcea enjoys watching old movies, reading and spending time with her daughter and husband.
